What topic for a master's thesis in the specialty "Software Engineering" to choose?

In the near future, there will be a master's degree in the above specialty, and the question arose of choosing a research topic (master's thesis).
I'll say right off the bat that posting this question here is only the first step in finding a topic, and I don't even expect to get in the replies the exact topic I'll be working on. Rather, the goal is to see what topics people choose to research in general. And if you're lucky, maybe some answers will push me in the right direction.
I would especially like to receive answers from those who have already gone this way (or are going through) with specific topics, tips, recommendations, what and how it is better to do , and what should not be done in any case. I will also be glad to hear the opinions of those who are not directly "involved" but have something to say about a useful topic related to the topic. :)
PS Of course, I studied examples of topics on the Internet. With this question I want to get more lively and close to reality thoughts.

If the bachelor's is tired, then go to the enterprises and look for a topic there
