What tools or services for monitoring work/orders on Upwork (formerly Odesk) do you use?
Each of you uses your own methods of monitoring and searching for orders/works/projects on Upwork (formerly Odesk). Personally, I use the feature to save my searches for different keywords and categories. But I think this approach is not very effective.
Many freelancers, like me, will be interested to hear your successful experience of monitoring and searching for orders/jobs/projects on Upwork. Thanks in advance!
UPDATE:
Let's summarize
the answers and solutions not yet told:
1. There is lancemonitor.com/?lang=ru (thanks jlekapb ) I tried it yesterday, the first impression is good. But as it turned out, this can be done using saved search results on the Upwork website and from a bundle with your mail via RSS. Read the next paragraph.
2. "in general, the need for monitoring has dropped significantly after the introduction of connections .
in general , you can save your searches and just pick them up via rss and
always
be aware of new work without third-party services. " section " Find Work " implemented a good " Advanced Search ", which can be customized for each request. For example, look for the phrase "mobile app" in the titles, excluding the words "ios, testing". And it will look like this: (NOT (ios OR testing)) AND title:(mobile AND app). This request will be generated by the site, you just need to specify the parameters correctly.
You can then save this query to your search history with " Add this search to your Job Feed ".
And for the future, you will constantly receive search results for saved queries. Which is pretty convenient. And as Puma said Thailand RSS tie up to the mail.
3. From myself, I will add mobile iOS applications for monitoring work on Upwork , which I found in the App Store. I did not look for Andorid, but I think there should be something similar.
a) Freelancer(my TOP-1) - free and with basic features, you can search for jobs by category on Upwork, Elance and Freelancer.com. There are bookmarks. To get additional features (Filter by price, by keywords and exclude them, and Push notifications) you need to pay $4.99 for an internal purchase. How expensive for me. If someone bought, then it is interesting to listen to your feedback.
b) Jobstick - free, earlier it was written that Odesk monitored, but Upwork does not monitor yet, since there was no update of the application. I hope it will be soon and it will be possible to test.
c) Freelance Jobs Viewer - paid ($ 0.99) it says that Odesk monitored before and it's not clear whether Upwork will monitor now. I didn’t buy it myself, if anyone has, it’s interesting to listen to your feedback.

I don’t use anything, I sit down at the computer and wait for the right order. But you should be patient, lately it takes almost 2 weeks to get what suits my qualifications. I've been working on UpWork for almost 3 years, more than 2000 hours, but I can't say that it gives any priority. You have to work very hard to find a job. Of course, there are regular customers, but the earnings from them are not sufficient.
There have been fewer high paying contracts on UpWork lately, mostly $5-$10. Often I come across inappropriate customers, but I have already learned to recognize them and not to be hired by them. Also these fucking connections. Still additionally come $10 for a paid account to pay, without it it’s completely a pipe.
In general, if you are a beginner, it will be very difficult to break through there. It used to be easier, although it took me almost a year to find the first customer. Or you will have to be hired for a complex and low-paid task for which experienced developers do not undertake.
Oh yes, I also forgot - this is Job Success. It's just terrible, you have to be constantly in trend, if you haven't worked for more than a year, all your ratings are reset to zero.
In general, as someone correctly wrote, UpWork is a world-class and global competition. If you want to work there, you need to constantly strain. Freebie will not work.
I used lancemonitor.com/?lang=ru Everything was fine, considering it's free. Then the notifications stopped coming at all. I did not understand what it is connected with. I wrote to support, nothing has changed.
Bought iFreelancer for fun. It is important for me to receive notifications as soon as possible. As I understand iFreelancer updates every 15-20 minutes. It's not as often as we would like. There is no way to change the timer. In general, I like the app.
I think now I can write an ios monitoring application for myself
There is also a telegram bot https://applyfirstbot.github.io/ , I like the fact that it immediately displays a lot of useful information about the job, such as type, price, information about the client, etc. I have been using it for a couple of months and so far everything is fine, notifications are checked every 5 minutes
By the way, colleagues. Does anyone know of another monitor that freelance.ru would know? The guys there are moronic, monitoring for the lansmonitor was closed, and their bright idea to look for the right job in a bunch of tags thrown out infuriates even juniors.
There is also a telegram bot for Upwork - telegram.me/uplancebot
I use a manual search for several queries close to me and an RSS browser plugin
