What tools do you prefer to use for algorithmic trading and why?
Interested not so much in programming languages as in frameworks or constructors for creating and testing trading strategies (robots).
I have successful experience working on QPILE, QLUA, TSLab.
CoFiTe, RobotLab - did not take root, complex structure and long development. Refused to use them.
Tradematic - also did not become my main tool. But I think to take a closer look at it.
WealthLab is a powerful tool, but it comes at a cost.
Which tool do you think is developing more dynamically than others? Who is the future of algorithmic trading?

My practice shows that as soon as hardcore programmers come, they start using more general-purpose frameworks, bending over everyone else who uses these "highly specialized frameworks".
So I have no doubt that the future in algorithmic trading lies with frameworks like Spark, Storm, etc., and of course, with languages like Scala, Java, C++.
I definitely prefer to use such tools.
What's the difference?
Here all the same depends on the algorithm and not the tool.
I use Python, Matlab, R, Java.

For machine learning I use this library: leenissen.dk/fann/wp
