What tool do you use (preferably under linux) to store and quickly find kng on your local machine?

Good time!
There is a problem - a large number of e-books that have either been downloaded either for temporary use, or to read "for later". As a result, over time, it happens that I download the same book several times, or I forget that I need to read "such and such" book or I need to find a book, and I know that it exists, but searching through catalogs takes time ( especially if the title of the book, by default, is written crookedly).
Surely there are tools that help to find something quickly (if there is a book). And when adding a book to the catalog, it warns that this book already exists.
It would also be great if this system checked the hash for the presence of the same file in order to exclude duplication of the same book with different titles.
How do you solve such a problem?
Thanks everyone for participating!

There is a wonderful reader FBReader. Multiplatform, with a good search. You can edit both titles and authors, adjusting the sorting to suit your preferences.

I don’t know about others, it would be easier for me to code something like that on my knee ....
