What to use for pixel perfect reports?

Share your experience, who uses what to print pixel perfect reports (invoices, transport, consumables)?
I’m choosing between BIRT and Pentaho Comunity, but so far I haven’t found any sensible documentation on the designer for either. Although a banal example of how to make up an account form, so that part of the data in the header and footer is also pulled from the database and not registered by statics.
