What to use for 3D modeling in Visual Studio?
Hello Toaster!
There is a need for a graphical application (CLR) to add a window in which the program will build a 3D model from the data from the file after the application is launched . Naturally, you need to be able to interact with this model (twist, select and view a separate area). The model will consist of separate cubes, and each cube stores some information and its own color. The object consists of about 10,000 cubes. Project in Visual Studio, C++. I have no idea what forms to use for this and in general how to add a form with a three-dimensional object. Please tell me where to dig.

OpenGL is called, well, or DirectX. On Habré, a series of articles on the topic is just unfolding . Everything is described there from the basics, until hardware acceleration (it may be useful to you) will come to articles after the sixth.
