Tell me which MacBook is better to take for programming? MacBook Pro 13 (2016) or MacBook Air (2018)? They cost the same price on the secondary + -800-900 $ And which one will be relevant longer?

Better Pro. And then take a model where the problem of peeling screens will already be solved. Look at which series / month 15 or 16 years old solved this problem
And at least 8 GB RAM and ssd 256
It will be hard for Aer, it will protect less bad cooling, especially this will be noticeable in summer
