What to take?

Good afternoon. You need an arduino board to learn. Actually, I don't know how to program. I do everything through Simulink coder and it seems to be enough. Well, the bottom line is that I need arduino for a couple of tests, and not for fruitful study. And then the question arose which version to take? I thought about taking UNO, and then I thought maybe pro or micro (there is a uart-usb adapter). I understand the difference in the number of legs. I will need a standalone device with i2c, SDIO(spi), uart support. That's what from the arduino family is suitable, well, not quite expensive. Thank you.

take any :) just to indulge you will not run into a limit on the number of "legs" or memory.
take the middle option - a Chinese uno for $ 8 ... and if the size is not embarrassing, you can mega ... or if you want a more minimalistic one - take a pro ... it's half the size ... due to the external uart-usb ... there are all such devices ... they blink their lights the same way :)

My choice for the same needs fell on UNO. Good value for money, enough memory and legs, without excess but actually without shortage. Plus, it's enough for more complex experiments, if you suddenly get together.
