What to study next on the web?

There is a minimum set of knowledge for simple sites - hmtl, css, jquery, php, mysql, wordpress. It happened that he made simple sites on wp for the customer, all sorts of edits. Sometimes 10,000 rubles came out a month. There was also a simple landing page for Bitrix. But now I want to make money. Need to delve into the study of Bitrix? As I understand it, what are online stores mostly doing on Bitrix now?

This is subjective, but it is better not to limit yourself to Bitrix. Bet on understanding networking in general and the HTTP protocol in particular, deepen your knowledge of databases, expand your knowledge of server tuning, read about how to write high-performance applications, master several different frameworks, write your own, finally understand the nuances of the application area.

I'll add some negativity. Read this - ebanoe-it.ru/2021/01/12/staff-shortage/
Now that you've seen the list, I'll tell you the following: but the devil knows what you need to study on the web .
Now there is such a trend in the field that each vacancy is like a kaleidoscope drawing, i.e. completely different requirements. Knowledge of "hmtl, css, jquery, php, mysql" now costs about the same as the salary of a cashier in a store.
The problem is that employers today want what you should have learned yesterday. The web has grown to the level of a cancerous tumor, one SPA zoo is worth something. Study, don't study, but without real practice on modern combat projects, your dreams of making "normal money" tend to zero.
If you are under 25 years old, then I strongly advise you to quit the web and go to a normal PL. At least in the tighter Java / PLSQL - then you can sit in the bank until retirement, Code Core. And the web in its current form is an absolutely disastrous injection of time, in 5-10 years everything will change beyond recognition, technologies will change and you will learn again.

What to study to make good money? The search algorithm is as follows:
1) Google vacancies for a web developer / front-end developer in your city or remotely,
2) Write down all the required skills,
3) Cross out everything you know,
4) Study what is left on the list.

Suddenly - learn what you like. Succeeding with nauseating tools is unlikely.

If you like the backend on the web, then install Ubuntu, study PHP well, rivet SQL queries on it, master the basic frontend (it’s enough to make a modal to the level, and then a button with an ajax request), then take Laravel or Symfony. And rivet something for yourself on the framework, simultaneously uploading, studying git.
It’s better not to deal with CMSs, poor clients usually sit on them, it’s just corny that you can hardly find a large, long, money project on it.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
