What to read the literature on network equipment?

What I want to be able to do:
1) Competently select network equipment for the set goals.
It’s not enough for me just to know the differences between a router and a switch.
2) Do a hardware upgrade.
I saw a lot of videos on YouTube, how the craftsmen increased the RAM in the router, added the ability to connect usb media, but they didn’t talk about it in great detail.
3) Make your own builds of openWRT.
Perhaps I want to set up a small web server or implement a smart firewall.
4) Reverse factory firmware.
Find bugs and vulnerabilities, independently look for ways to unlock routers locked by providers.
5) Make wifi-router + Arduino class projects.
I want it in book format.

Start with CCNA and programming drivers / operating system kernels, and then you will understand where to go next.

Increasing RAM in some device through firmware is, in my opinion, dubious and unscalable skill.
