Should I make my own rtl-sdr whistle (details below)?

For a long time, my RPi 3 has been working as an ADS-B receiver in conjunction with an rtl-sdr whistle. I don't really like this configuration, because the whistle itself is big, RPi 3 too. And then the other day I came across an Orange Pi Zero, 48x46 mm in size, and the official store also sells a case for Zero with space for a special expansion board (it has 2 USB, IR and something else).
And so I thought, what if we take the rtl-sdr whistle circuit and wire it on a 48x46 mm scarf, and buy the components in China and solder them on our own. Yes, it will be more expensive, but more compact.
Is the game worth the candle?

If you know how to breed boards with RF components, you have free time - it's worth it.
