What to read or watch about the development of speed reading?

I am looking for real methods, with a breakdown of how a skill is formed and what should not be done. From real practitioners who read a book (and more) a day, managing to take notes on something.
I want to learn more about different things, but not cut back on sleep and other interesting things (society, entertainment). Yesterday, for example, it took me 4 hours to read a book. But this is the very rare case when I can allocate so much free time, and serious books take up to 8 hours (not theoretical textbooks). Usually I'm willing to set aside only a couple of hours.
I don't want to:
- listen to audiobooks
- read excerpts from books
- use plug-ins to scroll text
Here, for example, is what people say about speed reading:
1) Peripheral vision, when several lines are captured across the entire width
2) Lack of pronunciation of the text
3) Non-return to the previous part of the text
4) Smoothness of eye movement
What is serious to read on this topic? With an analysis of the mistakes of beginners: how, what and HOW NOT to allow, how to get out of the plateau.
In the end, I want to have time to read these hundreds of subscriptions within a reasonable period of time.
upd .: a good introductory about myths youtube.com/watch?v=grTVy__kcJ4 in the same place in the same place, and in general there is something to watch on youtube about myths and problems of beginners (including English-language videos)
now I'm digging into google scholar in search of publications on related topics

Practice all day, you don't have to read for it. The point is to see a lot of details at once, right? The book is just a good example of a consistent presentation of information. But not driving a car or anything like that.
It's not peripheral vision. This is focus vision. According to Wikipedia, the human eye has a field of view of about 190 degrees. Best vision area 1.5 degrees. Clear vision zone 15 degrees. The maximum viewing area is 35 degrees.
I did not check it myself, I only quote for an approximate estimate. Doubts are caused by the ability to read 2 books at the same time, as some airplane / helicopter pilots can do, after a couple of years of training with an analogue of google glass.
also not related to the texts, just do not pronounce, although it is better to read the question "how not to drown in the ocean of information" here
Book: "Oleg Andreev. Learn to read quickly." In no other books and no other courses will you learn anything really more useful. But maybe it's some way to make yourself work.

Speed reading is suitable only mainly for humanitarian (including artistic) texts. Fizmat-chem-biological is not something you read like that. Yes, and you want to savor art, and not run away. It is important to be able to vary the speed of reading according to the situation, as well as highlight the main places, and quickly review the rest (here is speed reading). Lenin read this way and many others.
