Recommend a book on layout to a novice web programmer.
I wish the book was not outdated and could be found online.
Since I’m just starting out, I want to freelance on the exchange in a couple of months and offer the services of a layout designer.

For a beginner, I can advise not a book, but courses with homework, and then layout of a specific template. If you need help as a mentor - write.

My assistant in the matter of layout has always been htmlbook.ru . There is also some good stuff on CSS .
