What to read on ensuring the reliability of calculations?
Hello!
They asked the following topic for an essay at the university:
Ensuring the reliability of calculations. The concept of reliability. Methods and means of ensuring the reliability of calculations in distributed computing systems.
Unfortunately, Google did not provide answers to these questions. As well as the books of Tannenbaum, Voevodin and Gergel were not given. Well, Kosyakova, of course.
Maybe, of course, I didn’t look well, but there simply aren’t such chapters or sections. Everywhere reliability is mentioned in passing and rarely applies specifically to calculations.
Can anyone advise what to read about this?
Thank you.
