What to read junior front-end?

I want to read useful literature from the field of programming. But I can’t choose what is better to take, books aimed specifically at my specialization or something that develops as a programmer in general?
For example: "JavaScript Ninja Secrets" or "Fanatic Programmer" ?
Maybe someone has a selection from the must have area for the front-end?
