What to read for a beginner in WEB-development?

Hello $Toaster-User!
In short, I want to know what a beginner can read about the principles of work, the architecture of WEB applications?
There must be some basics. Some principles. For example, http, cgi, fast-cgi and other things related to the functioning of WEB applications. They are exactly what I need! And I want to know the BASE, and not the binding to any Framework.
PS:
Having searched on the toaster, I came across questions similar to mine, but there is still no clear and concise answer to them!
As a rule, they give answers like "read about algorithms". I do not recommend writing such answers, because. they are "about warm", but in the question "about soft" and as a conclusion, one should not confuse "warm" with "soft" these are different things!
