What to put in the repository when looking for work on react.js?

I worked for the company for two and a half years. I'm on sabbatical and now it's time to look for a new job as a react.js developer or a full stack with php, node js or scala, in each of which I have some experience. In many vacancies, I see a request for a link to an example of my own code or a repository in github. The situation is such that I have no right to spread anything from my previous work. I have a couple of relatively small, but with enough code, interesting js projects - for example, code that selects data from js tables according to the passed sql query text. Well, that is, parsing code, turning it from text into executable functions - a functional that is quite capable of showing my ability to code algorithms above average. Is it enough to impress the employer, or is it better to write a small component,

If there are people here with experience in finding a specialist, tell me what and how closely you look at the candidate repositories. If not, then maybe your thoughts or experience of what impressed your employers when hiring you.

Thank you.

If you have an idea for a pet project, you can post it. If there are no special ideas, then you can tell the recruiter so - then, most likely, they will give a test task - you can lay it out calmly

Invest better in CV. Describe what you did and how. What you have under the NDA in general is not of interest, just describe what you did.
