Studio copy.
Customer's copy.
Script showing "foundation year is current year".
Black Lord ;)
You have interesting logic. If there is nothing to insert, then do not insert anything. Or did you decide that since everyone puts it in, you definitely need it? If everything is harmonious and concise without a footer, then to hell with this footer.
To all of the above. On one project, for the sake of a joke, they decided to place an inkblot at the bottom and sign that this inkblot eliminates the feeling of sterility of the site :)
If there are a lot of sections, make a mini-map as at the bottom of this very page.
Stuff more visit counters there :-)
And so, for example: Our phone: (999) 777-45-67 | Contact information | RSS feed
Well, since the contacts have been moved to a separate page, it would be logical to add a “Contact Us” link/button to the footer leading to this same contact page. Well, copyrights and the rest of the above.
At the bottom of the copyright, who made the site, links to the main sections of the site.
It is worth explaining to the customer that contact information, being in the footer, will appear on each page.
Don't write much. The name of the organization and the telephone address are sufficient. And a link to full contact information, with details, a map, etc. This is a really necessary page.
Look at the footer of this page and draw your own conclusions. It's comfortable.
Pay attention to the footers of bourgeois sites? often they are even larger than the main content of the pages. These guys really know what to put in the footer, they are not afraid of the footer. A footer can replace several individual pages at once. It contains a duplicate of the main menu, a contact form, a highlight, a couple of blocks of statistics, and all this without any strain. We will not grow up to this for another five years.
