What to learn, layout or js?

Good afternoon!
I plan to become a frontend developer (deep JS, SPA, frameworks).
I know that the front-end needs layout, but I can't figure out how much.
Does a novice JS developer need professional typesetting or basic
skills are enough (for example, the 1st level of HTML and CSS HTML Academy) Advise
on which way to choose:
) and go straight to the JS developer.
2. Get into layout, master JS at a sufficient level for a layout designer, get a job as a layout designer first, and only then focus on JS.
3. Your option =)
Thank you.

10-15% of the effort on layout, the rest on JS
in SPA you will most likely not need to be a CSS guru and layout to arrange elements on the base page is enough.

Combine both options and do it together

I started with layout. I am currently learning js. I have been actively studying since December of that year.
The frontender must know the layout, without it there will be no understanding of the basics

Layout, then js deep to madness, then for a couple more years blindly tinker in the backend, but better go through the courses of some kind of cms bitrix and opencart will go (including development) well, then you will understand what will need to be typeset and why what code, you will ftontend 99lvl
