What to do with SITEMAP when migrating to the new HTTPS protocol?

There are a lot of discussions about HTTPS right now and no one can give a clear answer. Everything is clear with Google, but it seems that Yandex did not have time for Google ...
At this stage, almost everything became clear to me, namely (about Yandex)
1. Install SSL
2. Open the site using two protocols without a redirect (so that positions do not fall off)
3 Specify in robots.txt host: with HTTPS
4. Specify the main HTTPS mirror in Yandex Webmaster
5. Wait and hope that everything will be ok.
6. What to do with the sitemap?
- Leave it as is with HTTP?
- Make two versions of HTTP and HTTPS?
- Convert to HTTPS?
- Your option?

It seems like the answer is obvious (change it to HTTPS), but I don't want to risk it because I don't know...
At first glance, it’s obvious that I made a redirect and get high, but then again, no, the redirect will drop positions ... And others write that without a redirect, the link mass will disappear ...

Who knows what to do?

@Dejurin

until Yandex glued (and you work without a redirect) these are separate sites, that is, on one http sitemap on another https. after gluing - do a redirect. http sitemap is no longer relevant, we leave only https.
