What to do with *.pem and *.crx files after packaging the extension?

Created an extension. Paid 5$. Filled - everyone sees and can bet. It works as it should.
Questions arose:
1. What to do with the *.pem and *.crx files after packing the extension?
2. What is the private key for (where is the 2nd field: ".....(optional)") and what file is it?
3. Where and how to use these files and how to correctly put a link to download/update my extension on the site?

Thank you in advance.

@xmoonlight

didn't find it there...
The Chrome Web Store does not upload crx, but just zipped extension files ( more ).
an example of a link is it possible (real working)?
Just a direct link of the form http://site/name.crx
Depending on the browser / version, the extension will either be installed or downloaded ( more ).
Since you have access to the Chrome Web Store, publish your extension there and use Inline Installation on your site .
