What to do with Outlook 2007?
Yandex announced that from April 25 it will no longer support "unsafe" clients.
https://yandex.ru/support/mail/mail-clients/sha-256.xml
It also states that Outlook 2007 will not work on Windows XP up to SP3.
Having dug around, I found this sign:

The question arises - will Otlook 2007 on WinXP SP3 turn into a pumpkin tomorrow?
UPD. Didn't turn.

If the program has no idea how to work with SHA256, and there are no updates, the probability that it will not be able to work with the server via a secure channel is 100%.
And if Yandex does not allow POP3 / IMAP4 connections without ssl - so yes - it will be impossible to pick up and send mail in your client.
