What to do with outdated answers?

Judging by the comment (already deleted by the moderators along with the answer), someone complained that the question was "in the top of Google", and the link from the answer was no longer valid.
Misunderstanding arose as a result of the actions of the moderators: what next? Removing the answer to the question did not solve the problem "the question is in the top and there is no answer to it on the resource."
The question is a year old, the relevance of the answer is a year old. Why change history?
Moreover, there are a lot of other resources where the answer to this question is given, that is, the question itself falls into the category of "easily searched by a search engine."
Maybe add the "answer outdated" category to the "complaints about the answer" then? And then you cancel the revolution of the 17th year: D
