What to do with links to sites in the portfolio, if the customer managed to spoil the design of the site from the moment of delivery?

A beautiful website design has been developed. The project was handed over to the customer. Everyone is happy. The layout was published in the portfolio with a link to the new functioning site of the customer. After some time, the customer made changes to the site design (ruined it mercilessly) through third-party performers, added callback plugins, pop-up windows, and removed some detailed sections. In general, I mocked the site as I wanted. I would not want to remove the site from the portfolio, but why not put the original site on the hosting studio and put a link to it in the portfolio? I would also like to say that an important point in this project in the portfolio is the functionality and effects of the developed site, so a simple demonstration of jpg layouts will not give the fullness of sensations.

Store the completed layout on your hosting.

Yes, it is eternal pain. We decided that we would keep copies of completed projects in their original cleanliness on subdomains and demonstrate them if necessary, and not just the battle site.
