What to do with fatigue?

The last few months at work turned out to be tense (passing 2 stages on my project, promotion, staff increase, etc.). Worked 110%. In the end, everything is ok. But my well-being and attitude have changed :)

I feel tired of everything, I get tired after 4-6 hours of work, as if a week has passed. Productivity is reduced. And the most interesting thing is that I don’t know how to relax, I don’t want to / I’m not interested in anything (movies / wine / dominoes, travel, sex seem to be the most boring activities). I thought that in a couple of days I'll get enough sleep and everything will be ok. Did not help.

What to do? 25, unmarried.

- Sleeping outdoors. Although it is cold, open the window for light ventilation at night.
— Vitamins. Undivit - cheap and cheerful.
- L-carnitine. Increases regeneration. There is no habit. I advise Carniton - just as cheap and cheerful.

1. It is necessary to provide the body with all the substances it needs. Vitamins + protein
Try picking up something in a sports nutrition store.
The point here is that during intense intellectual work, the body constantly synthesizes and consumes various chemicals (neurotransmitters, hormones, proteins, ...). The basis for their synthesis is protein, the necessary factors for triggering reactions are vitamins.
2. It is necessary to improve blood circulation in the body in general and in the brain in particular. Is it running or sauna.
This will ensure the transportation of the right substances to the right places :) If the transport system does not work well, the first point will not be effective.
3. Sleep. Not less than 8 hours and go to bed no later than 23-00. This is due to the different cycles in the body.
The previous points will give effect in about two weeks. Well, how fast is the solution:
4. Buy phenotropil + glycesed + mexidol at the pharmacy. You will feel the effect in a couple of hours.
But this option in the long run without the implementation of paragraphs 1,2,3 will lead to the depletion of the nervous system with all the ensuing consequences.

Also advice from personal experience - go in for martial arts. When a fist is poured in the face, other problems become less pressing. And of course, this is physical education - disperse blood throughout the body, raising self-esteem and all that))

How about vitamins? The effect, of course, is not instantaneous, but still ...

It is for people like you that Quake 3 Arena was invented.
Although at 25 it is time to at least get married.
Then it will be too late.

Physical Education. For 2-4 hours of something like running 4-6 days in a row and your head will be empty empty.

Personal experience. When I come to the described state, I go to the mountains for the weekend, I load myself up there to stupor, so it’s even difficult to sit, I want to lie down. As a result, the sensations are very peculiar, not a writer, I will not describe.
A bike ride of 150-200 kilometers per day helps a lot. A mild option is to go out in the evening to run cross-country, but to such an extent that you would crawl home.
We need a shock for the calf, the brain understands that everything is bad, really bad, and begins to “survive”.
Yes, not for everyone. But for me this is the most effective, for friends it also works.

Fly to the sea. Not exactly "travel" (which seems boring), but just a completely stupid vacation. 10 days from morning to evening on the beach in some Tunisia will turn into a perfect vegetable, the brain will simply turn off. But when you return, it will be very cool to work.

Dirt helps me on a bike or snowboard in winter. One day a week. If after a long sleep nothing has changed - moral fatigue. You need to do something interesting.

Killed nervous system.
1) Two weeks, two glycine tablets per day under the tongue.
2) Vitamins neuromultivit and to restore the nervous system mexidol. And then and then one tablet a day for 2-3 months (cumulative effect). There are all sorts of nootropics and stuff, but IMHO, in case of exhaustion, this is all evil. We need food and recovery.

Exhausting physical activity. From rocking and to hiking in the mountains for a week with all the provisions "on your own". This is the flow of blood to the brain, this is an interest in other things than work. Trite, but it really works.
Running twice a week also keeps the tone, but I would not be able to run in a smoky city, because of the situation. Sleep will return, peace of mind will return.
If you are a creative person, then mindlessly spending a week watching some kind of series, on the contrary, will worsen the situation. Idleness kills.

It seems to me that yours is tiredly far-fetched =) I work two jobs, I spend about 12-16 hours at the computer. Nothing will help you if you don't want to.

Meditation.
Non-stop watching a couple of seasons of something interesting also unloads the brain well.

Too bad out of 14 replies, only dotneter mentioned meditation. But physical. loads, this is the same meditation, but there are nuances. For example - running: If you are running, and your head is full of work / problems / other ideas, then in this case it will only help, as mentioned above, to run until you fall and crawl. In this state, you automatically "free your head." Unfortunately, many people underestimate meditation. The spirit/nervous system/psyche/mind/mentality/consciousness is much stronger than the physical body and is able to withstand enormous loads, but this “intellectual-emotional” state also needs to be trained and developed, and people work on this only indirectly: sports/ cinema/music/literature/painting/communication and even religion.
Many books have been written about meditation, there are many practices, but now I am even at a loss as to what to advise so that you would understand everything immediately and, moreover, correctly. But I hope it will be useful to watch 2 parts of Eckhart Tolle's speech: 1 2
I was once very skeptical about such things, and many of my friends still are, but from personal experience I advise you: Be a Dreamer! Be an Observer! Be Know Yourself! = Be a Child! And you will forget about moral exhaustion, and whatever you do, you will do many times faster and better!

I had the same problem, I took a vacation for a week - it didn’t help, after a month another vacation for a week, I returned and a day later everything piled up again, as a result I revised where my strength went, leftist habits became a vegetarian and accepted other aspects of this culture of food and being, It's been good for 2.5 years now.

int02h, 2011-11-21

Personally, a two-week vacation is not enough for me. The body does not have time to relax (more precisely, by the end of the second week, it only begins to understand that it is possible to relax). We have already talked about physical activity above. It’s hard to argue with this, but when you really work a lot, unfortunately, there is no time for the gym. Personally, walking in the fresh air an hour before bedtime helps me. On the way from work, you can take the metro or bus to the station earlier and walk home on foot. Again, this is purely my personal experience. But I hope it helps you.

Don't worry, this is common. I have never had a vacation in 8 years, i.e. Since I was 20 years old, I have been plowing non-stop. For the last couple of months, there has been such a terrible apathy for my work that it’s just tin.
You've been given a lot of advice, except for one. Go to your local doctor, get tested. There is an option that you are simply sick with something and this affects your well-being. 25 is certainly not 40, but anything can happen. health and happiness)

Sipping iron at home or in the gym will help you switch to something else and relax. The pool is also good - after a kilometer the brains will definitely clear.

In such a situation, at one time, the pool in the morning helped me a lot. Go to bed no later than 23, then in 4-5 days you yourself will wake up at 6-7 in the morning. I usually go to 7 in the morning, at 8.30 I'm already at home, have breakfast and go to work :)

Have children, and then your fatigue will seem to you like paradise and baby talk. What to do in the evening - the question will not stand by definition, as well as what to do on weekends and holidays. )))
