What to do with battery power outdoors?
I will make a low mast on the street for my projects (video surveillance, weather station, Wi-Fi, etc.). Everything is on solar panels (to begin with, there will be 2 jokes of 4W, in the future I will add). Bought one lithium ion bank 18650 for 3400 mAh.
Almost all equipment (TP-Link Wi-Fi access point, weather station modules, batteries) will be in a plastic hermetic box. So the question is: how will lithium-ion batteries feel there? In winter especially. There are frosts -20, but maybe -30 (it was a few years ago). Maybe there will be heat inside from heating the equipment? The access point gets warm during operation.
Or consider another type of battery?

Use acid batteries buried a meter and a half in the ground - in a sealed box. Good thermal stabilization, long life, if it is not flooded with water and if there is no permafrost
Or consider another type of battery?
Minus for them, insulate death with foam or ursa and make thermal heating.
I did such garbage for gas workers something like a thermos and inside the beagle bone battery pack and IR diodes plus a small fan
Yes, they will fall immediately. Why take the risk? It is better to transfer to a heated room. Burying is not an option, they will become damp.
