We are uploading images of goods from 1c to hosting, but FTP is constantly breaking.
What can be done?

try passive mode, usually fixes the problem on your side - hosting is more stable, if not - only VPN, if VPN also breaks - only provider

Replaced this crap with Syncthing.
Secure, reliable, holds loads, bypasses NAT on its own. Installed with one binary. Configure at a time to spit.
Of the minuses - it is not predictable which file from the list will be transferred first, which last. It decides itself.
