What to do next with the documentation?

Good day to all!
I'm doing an internship at a mobile development company.
We set the task to "develop the concept and expand the MPOS library". I thought I'd start writing the code, but the manager stopped and said "code to write this at the end of the beginning, write the documentation."
And I tried:

And he says, "You're going right." My question is: should the documentation be more detailed? And what to do after that?
PS I didn't ask him myself because I don't want to look like a student who doesn't know anything.
Thanks!!!

I did not ask him myself because I do not want to look like a student who does not know anything.
You are going through practice - by definition, you are a student who knows nothing. And there is nothing wrong with that, everyone started with this. And the ability to ask in time what is not clear is very much appreciated in our business, because it allows us to save a lot of time on alterations for students who are too shy to ask.
Should the documentation be more detailed?
It depends on company standards. Guessing what a particular manager needs is pointless, you need to ask him.
And what to do after that?
You have been tasked with "conceptualizing and extending the MPOS library". You have developed the concept - then implement it.
