Power Supply

What to do if you pulled out the wiring from the power cable of the video card?

The essence of the problem - I connected the video card to the PC and pulled out the wiring from the power cable to 8 pin. That is, there is a cable from the power supply itself and at the end there is an 8-pin connector, where sixteen wires go. One of these sixteen wires is pulled out of the connector. There are eight terminals inside this connector, inside of which these wires are clamped, but it is impossible to insert it back - the terminal does not get. I handed it over for repair, they said that it was mechanical damage and they would not repair it. Buying a new PSU is not an option, this one costs a lot.
Now the question is - is it possible to use the power supply in this way, without one wire in the circuit? Or will it damage the system?

@rendomcrest

This is a duplicate of the power supply, the absence of one contact will not affect the work, unless you pull out the very wire that is responsible for checking the connection (one of the black ones), then the video card will not start.
