What to do if you have an idea, but there is no way to implement it?

Hello!
Periodically I meet with people who set a subject. I begin to explain that it is necessary to analyze the market, look for similar applications, calculate the "efficiency" of the idea ...
Then you need to assemble a team of developers, testers, designers, find a good leader and invest a lot of money. And it’s not yet a fact that the project will take off. Yes, and from time to time some ideas arise from time to time. But personally, everything rests on what I think in the direction of mobile platforms, but in life I am engaged in other specifics.
Keeping the idea to yourself is not an option. There is little sense, and someone can get ahead of one fine moment. Recruiting a team is not financially feasible for some, for others it is a matter of getting to know the specifics of software engineering. Giving someone else too, you know, is not an option.
I would like to ask Habr what to do with the idea? How to get the maximum profit from it?

The idea is worth nothing, because for the implementation you need to constantly (!) Generate additional (!) And accompanying ideas in batches so that it crawls to the implementation. Take personal responsibility.
Here such wise men really enrage "there is a particularly valuable idea of what to do with it." And what makes you think that the idea is not amateurish from the series “2 + 2 = 4”? The only way to check is to do it, to risk resources.
Do you think those who work every day in a business, have unused funds, have no ideas? There are ideas, there are no responsible people, there is no time to control.
The smartest option is the position “I have no ideas, I will do yours with pleasure”. They will give money, give resources and tell you where to dig.
And with episodic ideas... don't flatter yourself. They are most likely weak. Generate better ideas where work is being done and do not waste energy on something that will not be implemented.
For example, if you sit down and purposefully analyze the mobile application market, you can come up with a couple of dozen ideas in an evening. And now what to do with them? Yes, do nothing with them.

If there is no way to implement it yourself, just publish the idea and forget about it. If it is worthwhile, then someone will embody it, and the profit for you will be something that makes someone feel better. Don't always rely on money

Finally understand that an idea is worthless. Nothing at all! And live on...

To paraphrase the question: “I have an idea, I don’t have the desire to do it myself, I want to find a way to make everyone around me work and bring me profit.”
I'm sorry, but that's exactly what your question looks like.
There are four options for solving this issue:
1- You hire the necessary specialists for your money (from programmers to floor polishers, those who are needed to implement the idea) and they do everything for you and for you, generating income if they “take off” and ruin you, if the idea is "not a cake".
2- You still start to study on your own, delving into questions, specifics, etc. The result is the same as in paragraph No. 1, but the financial costs are less and less third-party specialists are needed.
3- You bury the idea in yourself.
4- You give the idea to someone who can implement it. Perhaps you are selling an idea, on some terms, that will bring you some profit in the future or "right now." Perhaps you donate an idea, provided that the above name will remain for centuries in the column "father of the founder of the idea."

Make a prototype. It will not require large expenses and skills other than personal time. Or it is not expensive to hire a freelancer who will make it, but there are already risks that he will not cope or will steal the idea.
With a prototype, you can already look for an investor. But we must be aware that they invest not only and not so much in the idea, but in their author, in his ability to organize a working business from a prototype/idea. Options like “I will work in the evenings and weekends” do not work, because since you yourself do not quit, it means that you yourself do not particularly believe in success, despite the alleged availability of money “for food”, why then should an investor believe and give you money “for food” and hiring specialists, not to mention the fact that “in the evenings” it stretches the implementation period, and hence the return on investment, by several times.
Selling a prototype or, even more so, an idea is unlikely. You can sell an already operating profitable business.

An idea without a description is nothing.
Take paper and write a detailed description, with all the nuances, sketches and technical specifications. In short, write the concept first. And if in the end you can’t squeeze out even a couple of pages of text, then your idea is really worthless.
The team, finances, skills are secondary. If you do not have the concept of an idea, then you will not be able to convey it to other people, i.e. you won’t assemble a team, you won’t interest anyone, you won’t attract finance.

Here I began to write about how things are going with me with ideas since my earliest childhood - perhaps it will be useful to you, or someone else.
Somewhere after the middle I wrote about that - about the inferiority of ideas. Perhaps even this will force you to start actively studying a subject area in which, as you say, you do not specialize.
And maybe I'm just being smart here. :)
