I recently built a new computer and now when I start some games they open, but the taskbar is still visible. I click on the game to remove it but it minimizes and when I try to open the window again, the game appears only for a split second and then minimizes again. When switching to another application, the game also minimizes and does not open again. I also want to clarify that the game seems to freeze during minimization, because no sounds are heard and the initial cutscene continues only when the window is opened for a split second. With some games, it helps just to click on it many times in the taskbar, and sometimes only a restart helps, and not the first time.

It depends on the game itself. Not all games continue to work when minimized, especially since not everyone needs it.
