What to do if the laptop cracks / squeaks?
I recently purchased ASUS Zenbook UX303UB on an Intel core i7 6500U processor. Already sitting at home in complete silence, I found a strange squeak / crackle from under the keyboard, slightly to the right of the center of the laptop. Judging by what I found on the Internet, this is a disease of the skylake family. The sound is the same as in this video. Another feature is that when switching the power mode (balanced, high performance, energy saving), the squeak / crackle becomes more / less. Those. energy savings - minimal squeak, high performance - is already starting to beat on the ears. Added to this is the fact that when you touch the touchpad, the squeak intensifies. I called the service, they say that this is a normal story for zenbooks, but it doesn’t fit in my head that a laptop for that kind of money should make at least some sounds, except for the cooling system.
Can you suggest what to do in this situation, maybe somehow you can solve the problem with minimal sacrifices? For I don’t really want to give it to the service for 3 weeks, and as a result I still get a backlash and scratched laptop.
Require laptop replacement, or give it to the service? What is this squeak generally fraught with for the laptop as a whole?
PS Initially, the configuration was with HDD and 4 GB of RAM, but the seller asked to change to SSD and 8 GB of RAM, respectively. Maybe it's somehow related?
