Apparently you broke something in the OS configuration. If you don't tell me exactly what you did, it's almost impossible to help remotely.
I can advise you to boot into recovery mode (available in the boot menu in additional options) and undo the changes made or just reinstall the OS. You can always fix it (unlike Windows), the only question is qualification.
