What to do if the Internet does not work well via WI-FI?

Hello everyone
Recently I changed my gaming PC to Air and it started.
On the PC there was a LAN connection and torrents downloaded at 10MB / s and everything was fine
. On the Mac, the adapter is expensive, so I decided to sit with Wi-Fi. And everything would be fine, but the download speed jumps a lot (from 3mb / s to 10kb / s) and so constantly
WIFI disappears every 30 minutes and you come to connect yourself
Videos on YouTube also slow down
Connected 2 tablets, phone and laptop The
router is: www.tp -linkru.com/products/details/cat-9_TL-WDR430... , but one leg fell off)
Help with advice
Thank you

Check the stability of the signal (maybe just because of the leg, or maybe it’s far away and the signal is bad) with this program, for example: https://cryptoworld.su/wifi-analyzer/
If the signal is bad, draw conclusions. If good - we will think further!

Possibly a bad router. Perhaps something clogs the wifi channel. Perhaps the problem is in the firmware. Try to set the channel manually, preferably before that, having studied the situation around - are there many nearby Wi-Fi nearby, what channels they sit on, find a less "crowded" one and set it in the settings. If the problem persists, change the firmware of the router. And then there are the results.

lan-to-usb adapter from d-link 900r costs works the same as the branded one, I have both. Update the firmware on the router if you have not updated it, find a free channel through the wifi-analyzer and transfer the router to it. Are there mirrors or blinds along the way?

Estimate the employment of 2.4 Hz air (if you work in it). In the case of a densely populated air, change it to 5 Hz if possible. Otherwise, you will have to resort to fine adjustments. For example, reduce the beacon Interval and increase the fragmentation threshold, install an antenna with a large dbi.

The router is dual-band, connect to the five, the speed will be better. I personally would also roll openwrt on it.

Switch to another channel.
