What to do if a customer on oDesk disappears?
Good day. Gentlemen experienced, tell me, probably someone came across.
I wanted to work on Odessa for a long time, last week I decided to experiment, made a normal profile and drove. Got the first small project with hourly pay. Made it on the same day, the customer was clearly satisfied and asked to make minor improvements. I contributed, he asked for a couple more little things, I also corrected. But after that the customer "disappeared". Does not respond to messages (communicated only through the exchange).
I got a small amount there. As far as I know, Odessa seems to guarantee payment on an hourly basis. What exactly is this guarantee? Is there some kind of arbitrage that can demand money? Could the customer steal the frontend from the project (which I posted on my test server) and order the backend from someone else for less money?
Thanks in advance.

If you billed the time through the Odeska program and the customer had a verified payment method, the billing will still go in your direction. If the customer does not pay for it, Odesk will pay.
There is nothing to worry about. Just billing will take place later.
