The contract is hourly, but I used the time manual in fact, and as I understand it, this approach does not fall under the protection of Upwork.

Completely unsafe. You can do it through an iframe, but be careful. For example by wrapping it in CSP . If your users upload video to some of your servers, and then it is played from there, then CSP will help. If you can stick video from any source there, then there may be problems in terms of security.
