What to do after setting up a web server?

So I set up a web server on Nginx and Apache, created sites there, the sites are displayed. Most manuals end there. But the question is, what to configure next? Backups, hacking protection? Fault tolerance?
If there is an approximate task sequence after the basic web server setup, what is it?

Well, google "apache protection from hacking" and "nginx backup".

Think business process, not admin categories. What, in your opinion, is necessary for the site to work and work smoothly? Do that.
Backups and protection against hacking are certainly worth setting up. Fault tolerance - well, this is a very capacious term and it can turn out to be very expensive, although here you need to clarify what you mean by this :)

I agree with CityCat4 - think about what you need for a "real" site:
- to work quickly (how to check? how to improve?)
- to be able to work with a billion (joke) visitors. (how to simulate XX visitors? how not to fall?)
- so as not to go broke with this billion visitors
- how to update it? (so that it does not crash during deployment. How to check the site before deploying to a live server?)
- etc.

Linux is a constructor, what kind of manual do you need on how to use the constructor?
You have the details and they gave you mana how they work, and what you want to collect from this is already your problem.
Your solution is in assemblies. (web snouts for managing web servers)
Bitrix VM - perfectly optimized, placed on any virtual machines and pure centos, in 1 click.
It has a convenient console admin panel, press 1 press2 there and letsencrypt and backup and so on and so forth.
Vestacp - is also installed with one command, you can select settings during installation.
braynicp - a large one can install a lot in 1 click, not a very convenient interface, but the functionality of a wagon and a trolley.
ispconfig3 - great manuals here ;) you'll like it. I use it just customizing for myself.
a pure web server and just files for editing are not very convenient, although they have a place to be.
