What to choose Macbook Pro 13 NoTB 2017 or Macbook Pro TB 2016?

I can’t decide what to choose Macbook Pro 13 NoTB mid 2017 vs Macbook Pro TB late 2016.
The price for 256GB version of 2017 without touchbar is the same as last year’s firmware with touchbar.
Judging by synthetic tests, the new non-touchbar Pro is doing last year's touchbar version (although I don't understand why, because it runs at 2.3 GHz, and the second at 2.9), well, it seems like the version with function keys works an hour longer from battery.
In general, in the throes of choice, can anyone tell me something sensible?

I would choose 2017 without the touchbar. But this is a very subjective choice, you need to build on your needs. I'm used to using the function keys in my work and it will not be convenient for me without them. For this reason, I could not buy 15 "2016-2017, because they do not exist without a touchbar at all. The 13" model without a touchbar also has a low-voltage processor, it is much cooler and much more economical than what is in the model with a touchbar. If there are no particularly serious cpu-intensive tasks, then such a processor is preferable.

I take myself with a touchbar, simply because I want a touchbar. Which laptop does what I don't give a damn. For work, mid2012 with an added frame and ssd was enough for me. So I choose purely by whistles-fake + I want to write something of my own under the touchbar.

The Touch Bar is an interesting feature, but nothing more. It will not simplify your work with a laptop in any way, but on the contrary, it will complicate it to some extent. I recommend buying a new model without a touch bar.
