What to choose from the bugtracker and subversions?
The order came and in the TOR, the customer indicated the technologies that should be used or at the discretion.
There is SVN - I don't understand why exactly SVN. Is it possible to use Bitbucket instead of SVN? Or is there some big difference. I read about SVN on Google and realized that the meaning of Git, SVN is the same (almost).
Mantis - I don't mind using it, but maybe you can recommend something better? If there are options.

You ask us why the customer needs SVN and not GIT? It seems that you need to find out from the customer :)
ZY . Now many people still use SVN (although it is considered inconvenient), it's a matter of taste and existing resources - maybe the customer has an svn server where he wants to put this project later.

GIT is distributed but SVN is not. In other words, if there are several developers working with a repository, everyone will have a FULL copy of this repository on their local machine. Of course, there is also a central machine somewhere from which you can clone the repository. This is similar to SVN. The main plus is that if suddenly you do not have access to the Internet, you still have the opportunity to work with the repository. Then only once to do synchronization and all other developers will receive a complete history.
GIT saves the metadata of changes, while SVN saves entire files. This saves space and time.
The system for creating branches, versions, etc. in GIT and SVN differ significantly. In GIT, it's easier to switch from branch to branch, to merge between them. In general, I find GIT a little easier and more convenient, but of course there are sometimes difficulties. But where are they not?
Of course, there are many more differences, but I have listed those that are most often encountered when working with repositories and, in MY opinion, the most important.
