How to connect one wordpress to two computers?

You need to connect your computer and laptop to the same site on a local server. I put Denver on both, git, connected it as it should, sort of. But only the site with wordpress was not transferred to the laptop, and all the settings, the database, too. How can I make sure that when publishing to a repository in github and after downloading it on another device, I get the same site?
I downloaded wp and threw it into the folder with the site that I needed, as it was written in the instructions on some blog. Git was installed according to the instructions from the official site and github.
Git init
Filled out user.name and user.email
Created an ssh key, learned how to do it from someone's repository on github. I connected ssh to github, everything went well, github determined the key and in git bash the answer also spoke about this. In addition, I also put a github on both computers, just in case. Because I'm just getting acquainted with the git, I wanted to check there if anything happens. Then on the laptop I entered the git clone command with a link to the repository, it was completely downloaded, successfully, the files were received. When I first started the local site, wp said that the error was in the database, the one I created on the computer was not found. Not a problem, I created the same one here. And after that, wp began to create a site, and not upload.

Denver is not a good decision.

5 years ago it was the best decision.
In early 2018 it's just not the same at all , use OpenServer
"Site" you will get the same only if you also synchronize the database one way or another.
Moreover, the domain for which WP responds is registered by WP in the database
