What to choose from 2 evils: FileNAS on Ubuntu or Centos?

We had a problem on how to build a NAS server on Ubuntu or Centos.
Components:
1) Ubuntu 16.04 server, NFS, AUTFS, Bonding LAN
2) Centos 6, NFS, LVM, Bonding LAN. AUFS - they say there is no support now
. Still, its task will be to slowly convert video content.
I would like to hear opinions (+/-) on what to choose.

What you know best, then use it.
ffmpeg on ubuntu is a little easier to build (if you need custom)
