What to choose and how to organize video streaming - Apple AirPort vs WD MyCloud?

Hi all.
There was a question of choice - to buy an Apple AirPort TimeCapsule or an Apple AirPort Extreme or not to bother and leave the router ala "Dirtrista" and buy WD MyCloud. of the tasks that need to be solved are Time Machine backup from my Mac, copying just various data you need, also copying wife's data (not from Mac'a), as well as possible streaming photos / videos from a network hard drive to Apple TV.

I would choose an apple simply because I mostly use only apple technology, and I have more confidence in its stable operation.
