What task to take for the thesis project?

I am in my 4th year of college. I know Delphi, some C++ and Python. I want to further study Django, PyQt. I shoveled several resources in search of a topic, I thought it myself. Several ideas came up, but they are controversial or seem absurd and useless after a while.
I am interested in topics for the web, something related to linguistics, English and its study. Perhaps someone has thoughts on this or some other interesting topics.
