What system would you recommend for teamwork?

Organized a business with a friend. We found the necessary excel database of companies, but this is not enough for convenient work with them. For reporting to each other, we decided to find some kind of system that would be controlled through a browser. I looked at a bunch of CRM systems, there is a lot of unnecessary nonsense everywhere: warehouses, personnel, and we are looking for simplicity.
There should be an xls/csv base loading, cataloging of each line (perhaps organizing "cards"), a function for adding comments.
It is possible to work through the banal Google docs or drop xls every time in Dropbox, but it is extremely inconvenient.
Also, I personally prefer open source, but this is not a prerequisite.
I'm waiting for an answer like a nightingale of summer! Thank you.

Perhaps worksection or planfix can handle this.

In the Trello analogy, I can advise MaisterTask.
There you create a task and you can attach an excel file as a document.

The simplest that satisfies the listed requirements is Google Contacts. Create a separate google account and work with it together.
