Good day. Some kind of eternal torment I have with VirtualBox Guest Addition.
Of course, I already tried to remove this optical disk from the VirtualBox interface and start it again, tried to mount it manually, flipped through Stackoverflow, and so on and so forth.
At the moment, after trying to mount according to the scheme:

sudo su
cd /media
mkdir cdrom
mount /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom
cd cdrom
sh VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

It started 6 times, the system rebooted, but there were no visible changes. The screen is still the minimum size, and so on. etc.

drivers are already compiled into the kernel.
if there is a desire to compile drivers with utilities, then virtualbox-guest-
dkms
and the console does not work in a window of arbitrary size, this seems to be a feature of the implementation of text video mode. in general, but I could be wrong.
if you need a console of arbitrary size, then connect via ssh, and start the virtualbox session through the background.
