Good afternoon everyone. The question is this. You need to pull the layout on Wordpress. Layout similar to a mini online store for food delivery. There is a main page, menu, basket and contacts. It is necessary that the user selects a product from the menu page and it automatically flies to the cart (the price is displayed on the cart icon), there are selected products in the cart with the ability to delete or change the number of products. Next, the user fills out the form below, all on the same page, and along with the form, goods from the basket come to the mail. The manager calls back and clarifies the order. All. Without payment.
I don't know what to think. Woocommerce seems to me too big for this task and it will have to be improved a lot, but I am not strong in it. I have been trying for 4 days now and there is no result. I also tried the Simple Basket plugin, but it didn’t work with it either. I can’t attach a link (I’m doing it locally) and there’s really nothing to attach.

I was working on a small store about a year ago, only I didn't develop it.
There, the author also used scripts instead of woocommerce.

You will have to refine anything, only designers work out of the box, and even then not quite out of the box.
Woocommerce provides functionality out of the box, use what you need, not everything.

WooCommerce seems to me too big for this task and it will have to be improved a lot.

If you have been messing around with pure WP for 4 days, then why not try WooCommerce at least for the sake of interest?

WooCommerce for WP is perfect in my opinion. Clear documentation, good optimization, great community, many plugins for wooCommerce.
And there are many CMS: osCommerce, Magento, Moguta.CMS, Shop-Script FREE, Taberna CMS, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Ubercart, Virtuemart in Joomla, etc. It's also full of constructors.

It is important which plugin you will use to pull the layout on WP. Since each of the plugins has its own API and, accordingly, you need to adapt the templates to the template.
I recommend Woocommerce.
