What software to make backups of user data in corp. networks?

Dear colleagues, good day to you!
And so, we had a need to backup user data to a file server. Let it be "Desktop" and some network folder:
%username%\desktop and \\server\%username%
The essence of the task is to copy the above folder in the background, according to a schedule, incrementally, with reports on the results to the server.
How do I see this solution?
There is some initiator on some control server and
some agent, client or just a service on the client machine.
The initiator's tools determine the copying parameters, and the service's tools determine the definition of files for copying, direct authorization on the final resource and reporting on the completed task.

Simply put, you need a client/server version of the software to create incremental backups of user data on the server.
Tell me what inexpensive software is better to use.
Server part - Windows Server 2008 \ 2012 (R2) (Linux is also possible, but not desirable)
File server - Windows Server 2012 with a disk resource connected to it via iscsi
Client part - Windows 7 \ 8 (8.1)

Bacula and a file work wonders.
