What software to install?

Help me decide on the choice of software for a self-assembly storage system!
Available:
3 servers running VMware ESXi in a Virtual Storage Appliance (VSA) cluster. Because disk space is starting to run out (VSA eats up 50% of each server), we found an old HP DL180 G5 and several FC Emulex lpe11000, as well as an FC-switch in the warehouse. For the server, we bought 8 new SATA disks of 2Tb each. We collected everything in 6 RAID (in the HP Smart Array P400 server - SAS / SATA). Now you need to roll some software with Fiber Channel support onto the server.
We tried to install from an ESOS flash drive, but ESOS itself does not see the volume correctly broken by the raid, and it looks like our FC Emulex does not see it either.
What do you advise?

Disassemble the hardware RAID and give the disks to the system in the form of JBOD, assemble the RAID based on the OS.
