What software to choose for monitoring network equipment and servers?

Advise what software to choose for monitoring network equipment and servers. Medium infrastructure.
I have never done this before, but by googling I found some of the most common systems for monitoring such as: zabbix, nagios, nagios XI, cacti, openNMS.
I would like to know from you what are their main differences, as well as what is most convenient to use for you personally and why.

In your case, it's easier to take a ready-made zabbix VM image from their website and do the basic setup. When you get used to it, install it fully.
Medium-sized infrastructure - how much? For me, this is from 150 hosts
