What software for raising a proxy exists?

An urgent question. For now, I just use ssh port forwarding, but I want a more flexible solution. I do not want to buy other people's proxies. I did a research and this is what I found:

3proxy
shadowsocks Of
course, the most popular open source projects are of interest.
Preferably with well-known authors, not no-name hackers.
Please complete the list with your suggestions and feedback on the practice of using any of the listed solutions.

Proxies are needed for the usual routine: web surfing through a browser, Telegram, instant messengers, torrents (if possible)
